Hey guys!
How is everyone doing lately? Here I am taking advantage of the free journal skins, thanks to that new ninja movie coming out. XD
I just came back from our school trip to Beirut, Lebanon a couple of days ago. I usually don't go in school trips to foreign countries because my parent's can't afford to send me, but the school has generously paid for everyone's plane ticket so we only had to pay for the hotel and bus fees + pocket money. I thank the Lord so much for this wonderful opportunity He has given me~

Beirut is a beautiful city built on hills. We were there from Wednesday the 4th until Saturday the 7th of November. The purpose of our trip was to go to our professor's printing press (his family business) and learn the printing process. His printing press is huge, and he showed us every step from the pre-press, how everything is set up, up to the cutting and folding. We also had a tour around the city and it was just beautiful. The view from the hills is breathtaking, and it looks spectacular at night. We can see a nice view of the hills from our hotel window and my friends and I call it "glittery mountain". ^_^ The people there are all very pretty and generally very nice, and we absolutely enjoyed our stay!

And how convenient is the timing of the free journals? Picture overload time!! 8D
My class took thousands of photos altogether, but here are a few that I can share with you:

Someone's excited! XD This was on the way to the plane~

Our very wise professor, Law.

Our bus was waiting for us when we arrived in Beirut.

Everybody's quite excited~

My bestie Sarah and I at our hotel - Gefinor Rotana.

The magnificent view from our window - "glitter mountain", as we fondly call it. ^_^

DAY 1!

Glitter mountain at day.

Breakfast!

Bus ride~ We had to wake up at 6:30 am everyday and we go off at 7:30. We were on our way uphill to our professor's printing press.

The view from the hills is amazing~ *w*

Saw a cross painted on a wall on the parking lot.

At Byblos Printing Press~

My class in the pre-press room.

Classmates goofing around with the equipment. XD

I love the view! It's cold up there too~
That's how short my hair is now, btw. I had a hair cut when I was in the Philippines and it's now the shortest it's ever been in years~
DAY 2!

My everyday look. I'm quite influenced by the emo style. I love leggings, dresses and cardigans~

Our professor Amin (the one who owns the printing press) tells us about different kinds of ink.

Huge printer *_*

Jesus' pic on a machine. Most of the machines have Jesus' pictures on them, it constantly reminded me of Him and it made me happy~ <3

Everyone was tired by day 2...you can see my friend Hamzah falling asleep by the steps here. XD

When not on the steps, he also fell asleep on Sarah's leg. XDDD

My friend Assil caught sleeping by professor Amin! XD He's trying to wake her up by scaring her with the sunglasses! Haha~

Well, they weren't the only ones who fell asleep! XDD

Tada! There are our projects, nicely printed.

My awesome class took group photos before we left Byblos Printing Press.
If you are wondering, there are 4 boys in my class. Unfortunately the other 2 couldn't make it, so there were only 2 on the trip. XD

Lunch!

Le Mall

On the way back to our hotel.
There's an anime collectors shop 15 minutes away by foot from our hotel. I didn't spend much at the mall and rushed to the anime store as soon as we got back!

They have way awesome stuff! *covets that Gothic Lolita Asuka figure*
And I got these!

I never expected to find Gogo there...I exclaimed "I dressed up as her a couple of days ago 8D"~
I wanted to just get Gogo, but they are a set. The guy on the shop gave them to me for half the original price because he could probably tell I'm poor. XDD

Tifaaaa~ <3
I got Tidus and Vincent figures for my brothers too.
They were such awesome finds, I'm very glad that I came across that shop. I was freaking out and spent an hour there, just checking out stuff. I got a Kill Bill wall scroll too. ^_^

Moar shopping at night...this time I got presents for the rest of my family~ 8D

Friends and I goofing off at a cafe. We stood by the window in a line while everybody inside looked at us weird. XD
--> The Deviation~
Last day! DX
Everybody was very tired by the last day. Here's my friend Sarah and I with our "I love Lebanon" T-shirts.

Church on the way to the airport~

Beirut Airport.

Waaaaaaaaah~ Goodbye, Beirut! Hoping to go there again someday~
Whew! It was an awesome trip, everybody had a great time and learned a lot, of course. XD

Love all these guys~

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed the photos. It was an amazing experience for me and my class, and I just wanted to share it with you.

Now that we're back in uni, we're trying to catch up (we missed 2 days of class). I just took the chance to put up photos now that we have these free journal skins. Thanks again, Ninja movie!

I might post some of these photos as deviations, particularly the ones I took of glitter mountain~

Much love to all! I hope everyone is doing well~
